Inspired by EOD robots, IED defeat tools and other advances in the defense sector, Stratom has evolved its areas of expertise, expanding its IP portfolio to bring unparalleled core technical expertise to the defense industry and beyond to truly make a difference in the world. Stratom is proud of the communities in which we work and live and continually gives back to these communities as an integral part of our core values.
As a team and individually, Stratom continually strives to expand our community outreach through personal involvement in the efforts of and charitable donations to local philanthropic organizations.
Aiding the local community during the global coronavirus pandemic, Stratom ran multiple 3D printers to fabricate face mask and personal protective equipment shield parts and provided those pieces to essential employees on the front lines — all for free. Additionally, Stratom consistently works to expand its relationship with the University of Colorado and Colorado School of Mines through joint research opportunities, as well as hiring interns and employees from these institutes of higher education.
Our president and CEO Mark Gordon currently serves as chairman of the board for the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of unmanned systems and robotics. He also began AUVSI’s Rocky Mountain chapter and serves on the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) board of directors. Our executive leadership team has also held board and leadership positions with National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), CO-LABS and Boulder Chamber of Commerce.
