NPI Program Manager
As a member of our team, the candidate will work with engineering, supply chain, operations, management, and customers to bring new products through the entire life cycle from the design phase into volume production. The candidate will tailor an innovative approach to each customer that focuses on their needs, market, and product.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assess the needs of clients and customers in order to design and deliver quality products
- Assist with the design and development of new product specs
- Manage the costs and schedules during product development
- Be the focal point of the NPI process and be NPI Core Team Lead bringing together all required groups for successful product launches
- Develop and maintain NPI Project Plan, Project Status, and Dashboards
- Work with manufacturers to ensure on-time, quality work and delivery
- Manage all aspects of the product introduction process
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or equivalent is required
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
- Previous experience in New Product Development and Introduction required
- Ability to self-manage, yet be a team player is a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task required
- Preferred experience in Hi Tech and government contracting
