Electrical Engineer
As a member of our team, the candidate will work with our internal team, customers, and partners to provide technical advice and support for the development of robotic systems. The candidate will work with leading providers of robotics within the DoD community to integrate our solutions with their architecture.
Job responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and testing electronics to support robotics and payload systems
- Interact with R&D staff across other engineering disciplines
- Developing robotic product architecture
- Provide technical support during design and test reviews
- Resolve technical issues regarding specifications and standards, and making changes and upgrades as required
- Testing of all proposed modifications
- Circuit design and board layout capabilities
- Experience in firmware development and motor controls
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; advanced degree desired
- 10 years Electrical Engineering experience in manufacturing/robotics
- Ability to successfully move an idea from concept, through design, debug, and into production
- Familiarity with the following technologies: Ethernet, USB, Serial, Wireless 802.11, sensor integration, laser integration, machine vision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Firmware development experience a plus
- Previous experience working in support of DoD desirable
