Stratom speaks at Rocky Mountain PDMA meeting about New Product Introduction: The Operational Execution

Boulder, Colo., January 19, 2005 – President of Stratom, Mark Gordon, has been invited as the keynote speaker at the January Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) meeting in Englewood, Colorado. The PDMA is a practical learning venue and vehicle for improving profit growth through new product development. The goal of the PDMA is to unite the thousands of individual members, who have creative, new products to bring to market, into a single, unified organization for the mutual benefit of all.

Mark Gordon explains that, “Today’s product development cycle is continually shrinking. To stay competitive companies must constantly reduce their product development and release time through the development of a collaborative and integrated approach to the product introduction process. This provides a framework for the operational execution of the product development cycle.”

The presentation topics will include how to synchronize critical forces – supply chain, outsourcing, supplier quality, customization / order fulfillment, product quality, and production. “Additionally we will discuss New Product Introduction organization structures and the essential skill sets and roles required,” adds Gordon.
