Community Involvement
Stratom is involved with supporting our community in many aspects. We continually work to expand our relationship with University of Colorado, Boulder, through joint research opportunities and technology transfer initiatives that will grow our university, corporate ties, and intellectual property. Stratom is also a member of CO-LABS, a coalition on federally funded scientific laboratories, universities, businesses, local governments, and legislators,
with Mark Gordon being a member
of the Board of Directors.
As a team and as individuals we continually strive to expand our community outreach each year by providing personal involvement in special projects, needs and events for local charitable organizations and further fulfilling our Core Value of “Commitment to Community Responsibility, giving back to the community what it has given to us.” Stratom has also hired multiple interns from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and will continue this tradition into the future.
Stratom has provided charitable donations to the American Red Cross, Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, and Hope for the Warriors. Stratom has also supported science programs in Boulder County and surrounding school districts by sponsoring teams for the Lego® Mindstorm robotic competitions.
